Baxter is a senior Dachshund whose adopter became unable to care for him, so he came back into our foster program. Baxter had his veterinary status brought up to date, but he has lost weight and currently has some elevated liver values. He will continue to have his diet and care monitored, as well as keeping track of his blood values. Baxter has perked up a lot since he was put on a new diet plan and is glad that he's still with his friend Paco. They are both settling into their long-term foster home, and they are looking forward to some happy times together.
