Description:
Honey is a sweet little Dachshund lady who came to us after her original owner had to go into assisted living. Initially we thought that Honey's less active lifestyle was because she missed her owner and had been in a very inactive household. However, we soon found that Honey has some mobility issues of her own. Even though she is not very old, Honey has arthritic hips and needs to take daily medication for them. That has helped her, but Honey's luck took yet another turn for the worse. Her left knee became painful and she was diagnosed with a luxating patella. We are in the process of scheduling surgery for Honey's knee. Hopefully that will let her get around a lot better like a lady her age should be able to.  Honey would appreciate a sponsor or sponsors to help fund her surgery and recovery, as well as her ongoing medication needs.
