Lexi must be adopted with her companion, Cassie (adopted).

Lexi is a gorgeous, active little wire-haired girl. She and Cassie are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Lexi came to us with some unmet dental needs. We've had that taken care of, and although she has nowhere near as many teeth as she used to, the bad ones are all gone, her mouth is healed, and she feels much better! Both Lexi and Cassie came to us with vet records indicating they were heartworm negative. A recheck confirmed that status for Cassie, but Lexi showed a light (barely readable) positive. The clinic said it's probably an error, but we plan to retest prior to adoption to make sure she is indeed heartworm negative. If Lexi has developed a light case, we will treat it before she is adopted.
Meanwhile, the important thing is that both girls are small, get along with other dogs, like people, are active, and just plain cute! Two little doxie girls are much happier than one alone; If you have enough love for this pair you may be the one with the perfect forever home!
