Butterfly is a gorgeous, happy little girl who had her jaw removed surgically some time in the past for reasons unknown to us. Because she has no teeth we can't easily estimate her age, but Butterfly has clear eyes, no gray hair, hears well, and still gets around easiliy, so we think she is on the young end of the senior scale. Butterfly has no problems eating or drinking and she is a HAPPY LADY! She has not stopped wagging her tail when she is awake and around people, other dogs, a comfy place to rest, or outside exploring :-)  Butterfly is an experienced, well-mannered pet also; when she got to her foster home the first thing she did was climb the doggie stairs, hop onto her foster people's human bed, curl up on the pillow, and wag at the world. Whatever it was that happened to this little lady's jaw and how she became a stray is a mystery we will never solve, but it is obvious that Butterfly was born to love and be loved. She is the perfect pet!
