My name is Butters because of my color, but I'm not bad for your cholesterol, I'm good for your health! I'm a young nine years old, love to play, and love people. Everyone who meets me says I'm small, cute, and the nicest little girl they've met. When they find out I'm not a puppy they are surprised, because I'm playful, happy, and still have that little girl look. I was rescued from a kill shelter where someone left me because they couldn't afford to treat my heartworm and they hadn't kept me on preventative. I had to be treated, but I'm all better now  and on preventative so that won't happen to me again! I like to play with other dogs, I like cuddling, and I'm one of the best behaved Dachshunds you'll ever know. I'm ready for adoption and sure would like a loving forever home; I hope you have room for a cute, loving little bit of Butters!
