Alexis is a beautiful red longhair Dachshund with a heart of gold. She had to be cleaned and de-ticked, which is not much fun, but she was a patient good sport through all of it. Alexis also had to get heartworm treatment, and was just as nice about all that. She's had the first treatment and is doing well, so there should be no problems with complete recovery. Alexis is much prettier than this early photo now that she's had some time to get happier and healthier, and she has never lost her great attitude toward people.
