Beau came to us as an extremely obese owner surrender. He lost weight over time thanks to a controlled diet and his increasing enjoyment of being able to be active. As he has aged Beau has developed congestive heart failure and is on daily medication to manage his condition. He is also showing beginning signs of organ shutdown associated with age. He is considered a sponsorship dog and is currently still having a good quality of life, and is a generally happy dog.
