Syd is a cute young guy who is very insecure at first but rapidly progresses to clingy then independent. He is a sensitive boy with a very kind heart and a lot of love to share. Syd did some stray time before he came to us through a shelter, and he still has the makings of an escape artist or door-runner, so he will need a very secure home, at least until he knows he's really in a forever home and doesn't want to leave. Syd will do best with an experienced owner who knows when to encourage him, when to give him space, and how to keep it consistent and positive. He's well worth the effort to get him over whatever uncertainty he brings with him, and he is anxious to become the wonderful pet he's meant to be!
