Tucker is a very sweet boy who is a little shy and barky at first but warms up almost immediately. He does well with other dogs, but like many Dachshunds, Tucker's live included a toddler recently. Tucker liked to bark at the child- he was curious and outspoen, but never aggressive. The baby didn't understand and got frightened, Tucker didn't understand what he was doing wrong, and ultimately he was surrendered to rescue. Although he's a little confused, Tucker has quickly made himself at home with nothing more than a few "good dog" praises and some loving care. This boy is very young for his age, beautiful, sensitive, and just needs a less stressful environment with no young children to mske him lose self-confidence and feel like he'll be scolded. Tucker's the kind of guy who loves to give doggie hugs and sleeps with his people; a true cuddle puppy! This good boy is gorgeous, in great health, and just needs a home where he will be the good boy!
