Ellie Mae is ready for her new forever home! She is six months old, is a dark red smooth coat purebred dachshund, and has been fully vetted. Ellie has all vaccines, rabies, spay and microchip. Ellie was purchased as a gift, but was returned to the giver after two months. Then the giver gave her to DLT Rescue. Ellie doesn't want to be a gift again! She gets along well with people and dogs. She is improving each day on her housetraining with a doggie door and her leash training. She will need time and patience.  Ellie enjoys playing with toys and other dogs.  She will bring joy to your home with her silly antics and loving nature.

As with all puppies, Ellie Mae will need a home where someone has the time to spend with her. Experience raising a Dachshund pup helps, and a playmate of similar size is also a plus.
