Bullet got his name due to the circumstances of his rescue- he came to rescue having been shot in one of his back legs. Miraculously, despite the damaged femur, Bullet's leg is stable. He's walking on it well and x-rays show it's healing nicely and all is straight! However, Bullet has yet another challenge. He tested heartworm positive. It's not a strong case, though, and at his young age the vet is optimistic that he'll do well with treatment and have no long term health complications whatsoever. It's time for Bullet to get a shot of TLC! He needs to know people are kind and loving so he can enjoy his life! Bullet is not the most obedient or trusting, which isn't surprising given his background, so an experienced owner would be best. He's a sweet one at heart, he just needs a good home!
